Arid
It is known with the popular name arid, to the mineral, solid materials inert, that with granulometrias adapted, are used in the resistant artificial product manufacture.
	By extension, also they are called arid to the rocky granular materials that are used in the firm ones of highways with or without addition of active elements, to the ballast used on the way to railroad and the jetties for protection of harbor works, rivers and channels.
